How does Fan50 measure waiver-wire advice?

We record each recommended pickup in tracked waiver articles, then measure how those players actually scored: the target week for claim-and-play adds and streamers, the next three weeks for stashes. Each type of advice is judged separately, by position. So far these articles were added after their waiver deadlines, so results show how the advice played out rather than a head-to-head race.

Results by type of advice

Each kind of advice is judged on its own terms. Pick one for the full results by position.

How it works

Each recommendation is recorded with its type (claim-and-play, streamer, stash, handcuff, speculative, deep league), position and any priority order. Points are half-PPR from official stats; a player who sits out counts as zero. Picks without final stats for the whole window wait until they're complete.

Different kinds of advice are never mixed: a handcuff isn't expected to score right away, so it isn't compared with a claim-and-play add. A source needs at least 3 articles and 5 measured adds in a row before it can be ranked, and ranks appear only when two or more sources are in the same comparison. Articles captured before the waiver deadline and articles added afterwards are kept apart.
