NFL fantasy football, 2026 season

Fantasy football expert accuracy and independent service reviews

Fan50 helps fantasy football players decide whose advice to follow and which services to buy. We review service quality, and we measure how accurately tracked experts ordered NFL players in weekly half-PPR rankings. The two are reported separately.

RB · Season through week 7. Season skill score (0 = random order, 100 = perfect)
  1. FantasyPros Consensus36.8
  2. Draft Sharks36.0
  3. Footballguys (PPR board)35.9

Season scores average eligible weekly indices; sample size and participation are shown with each result. Past results don't establish future superiority.

Two ways we evaluate advice

Service reviews, scored 1 to 5

An editorial assessment of a paid service: how useful the advice is, the tools and usability, value, coverage and timeliness, and transparency.

How we review services

Measured accuracy, indexed 0 to 100

Fan50 measures how closely an expert's player ordering matched actual fantasy-point ordering within the same weekly position and scoring-format player pool, as a skill score: 0 is a random order and 100 is perfect. Most rankers land between about 5 and 35, because weekly fantasy scoring is noisy, so a few points is a real gap; below 0 means worse than a random order. It is not a prediction success percentage.

Questions

What does Fan50 evaluate?

Two things: the quality of paid fantasy services, and how accurately tracked experts ordered players in weekly rankings.

Is a service review score the same as expert accuracy?

No. Review scores are editorial judgments of a service on a 1 to 5 scale. The Order Index measures how closely an expert’s player ordering matched actual fantasy-point ordering. We never combine them.

Which leagues and formats are covered?

NFL, half-PPR scoring, weekly QB, RB, WR, TE, FLEX, kicker and team defense rankings. Each is measured as its own cohort; FLEX ranks running backs, wide receivers and tight ends together.

Do affiliate commissions affect rankings?

No. Affiliate relationships don’t determine editorial scores or accuracy standings.

Do past accuracy results predict the future?

No. Measured results describe past weeks only and don’t establish future superiority.

When are rankings captured?

Before each week’s lock, five minutes before the first scheduled game, so news that breaks after the lock can’t be reflected in a ranker’s score.
